MWC 2018: Camera Is the Main New Feature of Galaxy S9

As announced earlier, Samsung unveiled new flagship phones from its Galaxy lineup S9 and S9+ right beofre the start of Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Main advancements compared to last year's models is the powerful camera.

Redesigned camera has a new Dual Aperture lens, brand new low light solution and Super Slow-mo video capabilities. Combined with personalized AR Emoji, Samsung expects those features will once again draw the attention of customers.

The devices also have stereo speakers tuned by AKG, audio with Dolby Atmos and enhanced edge-to-edge Infinity Displays in 5,8 and 6,2 inch. In addition, the Galaxy S9 and S9+ will come with the new SmartThings app, which unites Samsung’s existing IoT services into one single, smart experience.

New phones will be available starting in March 16 in select markets. Users that pre-order will get their devices a week earlier. They will be offered in Midnight Black, Titanium Gray, Coral Blue and a new hue, Lilac Purple. New Galaxy phones will cost 849 and 949 euros on European market.
