Siemens Opens Its Largest Global Research Hub
Siemens has opened the first building complex of its Technology Center (STC) at Garching Research Campus, north of Munich, Germany.
ZTE was among a couple of vendors who presented their new devices in Barcelona, just ahead of Mobile World Congress. They have announced the new Blade V9 smartphone, featuring a full screen design and low-light camera capabilities.
The design of the ZTE Blade V9 features a 5.7 inch FHD+ screen and 18:9 aspect ratio with screen-to-body ratio of 83.6%, and provides a user experience that allows consumers to quickly and efficiently navigate with minimal reach. The dual camera low-light technology enables consumers to capture clear nighttime photographs and experience high quality low-light photography. The ZTE Blade V9 has a dual lens 16MP camera, a larger aperture to capture more light, a 6P lens for reduced distortion, and next-generation PDAF 2.0 for 40% faster focus speeds.
“Blade V9 has redefined the mid-tier industry segment and provides a platform for consumers to truly live without limits,“ said Lixin Cheng, CEO of ZTE Mobile Devices. “The low-light camera, full screen design, and other leading features of the ZTE Blade V9 provide everything consumers need for a life of exploration, and at an affordable price.“
At the same time, ZTE also announced the Blade V9 Vita, a slightly smaller cousin to the Blade V9 that offers consumers many of the same industry leading features for a life of exploration. The ZTE Blade V9 will be available starting at 269 euros, and the Blade V9 Vita will be available starting at 179 euros.
