Xiaomi Unveils New In-House Smartphone Chip
Xiaomi has introduced its new Xring O3 smartphone processor, a move that highlights the Chinese manufacturer’s continued efforts to decrease its dependence on third-party chip suppliers.
The top ten Android apps in the world had a combined download figure of over 340 million. Most downloaded and used apps are in communication sector - OTT players dominate the mobile apps world.
According to Priori Data, at the top of the list was the ever popular WhatsApp with 96 million. In fact, apps developed by Facebook account for the lion's share of the list, with WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger/Messenger Lite and Facebook/Facebook Lite hauling in a combined 276 million downloads.
