DT Launches Global eSIM Roaming Product

Deutsche Telekom has announced the introduction of T-Travel, a specialized eSIM solution tailored for international travelers. Through this digital platform, users can procure mobile data packages for over 200 global destinations and activate them directly on eSIM-compatible devices, irrespective of their primary mobile service provider.

The service is fully digitized, utilizing an eSIM-enabled infrastructure. Users may select an appropriate data package for their destination from four distinct configurations and activate the service prior to their departure. Depending on the specific offering, customers may choose a service duration ranging from one to 30 days, as data allocations and pricing vary by destination and trip length.

The advantages of T-Travel include streamlined activation and access to premium networks in over 200 regions, offered at competitive, transparent rates without any contractual obligations. DT maintains a global mobile network encompassing approximately 600 international partners and remains a leader in 5G roaming services. The service is launching in multiple major global and European languages, including English, Spanish, French, German, and Croatian, with additional languages to be integrated over time.
