Samsung introduced Galaxy S8 and S8+, a new generation of its flagship smartphone. Korean company unveiled its new product at a special event in New York. The most visible feature is seamless design and curved display edges which the company calls the Infinity Display.

S8 will come with 5,8 inch display, two similar 10nm octa-core processors, 4 GB RAM, 3,000 mAh battery with fast and wireless charging capability, 12 and 8 megapixel cameras (back and front), and lots of other new hardware and software features. S8+ will have a larger, 6,2 inch screen and a 3,500 mAh battery.

The Galaxy S8 and S8+ will also come with already proven Galaxy features, such as IP68 water and dust resistance and MicroSD support up to 256GB. It comes with metal frame, glass back and 2,960x1,440 px screen resolution. Both models will run on Android 7,0 operating system.

Hottest new software feature is called Bixby. It is an AI assistant that should be Samsung's response to Apple's Siri. At launch, Bixby’s Voice function will integrate with several Samsung native apps and features including Camera, Contacts, Gallery, Messages and Settings, with the plan to expand its capabilities to include more Samsung and third-party apps in the near future.

Galaxy S8 and S8+ also come with the enhanced Samsung Health service and Samsung Pay. New earphones tuned by AKG will come as an in-box accessory. The Galaxy S8 and S8+ will be available in stores on April 28, but everyone who makes a pre-order will get the phone one week ahead. They will be offered in several colors, including Midnight Black, Orchid Gray, Arctic Silver, Coral Blue and Maple Gold.
