Berlin Photo Week makes its comeback this summer, kicking off its third edition on August 26th. The new Hub for the event is Haubentaucher, an exciting urban venue.

As part of the famous R.A.W.-Gelände, which attracts over 30,000 visitors a day in the summer with its galleries, clubs, and restaurants, Haubentaucher is the ideal place to bring together the leading manufacturers in the imaging industry with Germany’s creative scene. In addition to the decentralized location, prestigious exhibition sites and art venues such as Grisebach and CHAUSSEE 36 will be included as satellite locations.

This year once again, the public can look forward to numerous top-class exhibitions, exciting talks and expert discussions on contemporary photography topics. There will also be the popular Funplace, where visitors can discover leading industry players such as Sony, Nikon, Panasonic, Leica and WhiteWall and participate in special interactive brand experiences.

"We are happy to launch the Berlin Photo Week which will be the very first event on this range of topics since the outbreak of the pandemic. BPW’s main focus isn’t just the new cameras; we’re more about the core of photography and the fun of making pictures. In a typical year, it’s a great complement to IFA, which is of course much more focused on technology, products, and retailers. We are looking forward to the upcoming experience and also to next year, when we will be able to extend this bridge even further as part of IFA 2022“, said Jens Heithecker, Executive Vice President of Messe Berlin Group.
