On the second day of Combis Conference in Vodice, Croatia, a large number of participants attended a long-awaited plenary lecture given by a former football referee and one of the most famous people on the planet Pierluigi Collina.

In his lecture named ‘How to Be Successful on the Field’, Collina emphasized that openness to change and improvement is crucial in business development, as the goal is always the same - to be one step ahead and observe every change as an opportunity.

Pierluigi Collina has refereed at the highest level including the 2002 World Cup Final and the 1999 Champions League Final. After his retirement, Collina led the Italian Serie A referees and then appointed UEFA Chief Refereeing Officer. Currently he is the Chairman of the FIFA Referees Committee.

Also he showed the technology helping referees to stay fit and of course VAR which helps them in difficult decisions. Collina sad that is privilege to like football on one side and on the other to work in football, combination is best to work in the filed that you like.

The Combis Conference was closed with the speech by Igor Dužević, Combis Conference Content Director and thanked all of the partners and customers, as well as Conference sponsors, other participants and guests of this year’s gathering, for taking their time and sharing some of their ideas and experiences.
