According to media reports, Deutsche Telekom is looking to sell its radio tower business very soon. Handelsblatt wrote in an article that the sale could be arranged in the first quarter of next year.

DT is open for offers for a minority or majority stake, the German newspaper reported. It estimates that the division is worth up to €20 billion. The company aims to have a sale in progress by the end of the first quarter of next year.

DT CEO Tim Hoettges recently said he is open to finding an industrial partner for the company's towers infrastructure. "I'd love to have an industrial partner and I'm willing to deconsolidate," Hoettges said in November. He also noted he would want to retain a role in the decision-making that would follow a deal.
