Ericsson Nikola Tesla

Ericsson Nikola Tesla announced that the group has signed several new contracts worth almost €5 million. The contracts pertain to the modernization and maintenance of communication networks and the digital transformation of society.

The implementation of the latest technological version of the Ericsson Evolved Packet Core (EPC) and Diameter Signaling Controller (DSC) solutions was contracted with HT Mostar. By implementing this contract, HT Mostar will modernize and further expand the existing package core network solution and enable simpler and more agile management as well as the creation of new advanced services to the satisfaction of its end users.

Several projects for the modernization and maintenance of the core network were contracted with the Kosovo operator IPKO, among which we would like to single out two projects. The introduction of VoLTE functionality will provide users of this operator with an improved voice service on the LTE/4G network.

The Mobile Number Portability functionality will be implemented and it will, under the requirements and rules prescribed by the regulatory agency, enable users to change operators while keeping their existing number. Projects for the modernization and maintenance of mobile networks in other export markets were also contracted.

In the field of digital society, several jobs related to the digital transformation of healthcare, land administration, public administration and security, business communications, transport, and sustainability (Smart Energy) have been contracted in Croatia. All the mentioned jobs have a positive effect on the further development of the economy and the availability and quality of public services.
