COVID-19 concerns are affecting the next edition of the Consumer Electronics Show. Meta, Twitter, and Pinterest separately confirmed they will not send teams to CES in Las Vegas.

“Out of an abundance of caution and care for our employees, we won’t be attending CES in-person due to the evolving public health concerns related to COVID-19," Meta said. Pinterest, which has already planned a scaled-down meeting area, said it had made a final decision to cancel.

Some of Twitter's employees were to attend several panels, but the company said it has canceled its in-person presence. It is now exploring what virtual opportunities are possible.
