To help young people become aware of their talents and maximize their potentials, and thus find the ideal profession, Hrvatski Telekom has launched the FutureProof project. Initiated by Deutsche Telekom, the project is using the Holland's RIASEC model, dominant in the field of career choice psychology, provides members of Generation Z with a list of career options that suit different personality types.

The project includes its namesake app, also available in Croatian. It's free and available to all and helps young people discover their own hidden talents through a personalized experience, considering key trends in the world of the labor market. In addition to the app, there is also an online HUB, with useful tips for young people on how to write a CV, prepare for a job interview, or improve their social media profiles.

To get a better insight into the lives of young people, their wishes, and aspirations, HT, in collaboration with the agency Ipsos, conducted a survey among members of Generation Z. The results showed that the vast majority of young people in Croatia, as many as 72 percent, are worried about their future job and career, and more than half of them are not sure what they want to do in the future. The survey also showed that 66 percent of young people in Croatia would like to turn their interests and hobbies into a career and would like to get advice from successful people who have gone through such a professional path. 65 percent of them also showed interest in using digital platforms in developing their careers.

Generation Z across Europe is uncertain about employment. It has been confirmed through a survey by Deutsche Telekom, which showed that 54 percent of young Europeans are not sure what jobs will exist in the future, and 43 percent are not sure if they have the qualities needed to succeed in business.

"Through the Futureproof project, with the message "You shape your future", we provide young people with very useful practical support that will be of great benefit to them because it will make them aware of their potentials, some of which may be known to them, while others are hidden but present, nevertheless. Hrvatski Telekom wants to support Generation Z in taking advantage of all the opportunities provided by technology, and this is especially important at this time when the future seems particularly uncertain to young people," said Branka Bajt, Director of Hrvatski Telekom's Brand Sector.
