HMD Unveils New Nokia Smartphones

Finnish mobile brand HMD Global introduces six new Nokia phones across three distinct lines: The X, G and C series. New smartphones are named: Nokia X20, X10, G20, G10, C20 and C10.

The X20 and X10 will sit at the top of its portfolio, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G mobile platform. The pair have a 6.67-inch full HD+ display and run Android 11.

HMD Global touted the G-series’ three-day battery life, stated as the longest on a Nokia-branded smartphone to date, along with improved security through facial recognition and side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The C-series is promoted as a good value phones at low prices.

The company’s also announced that it will start virtual mobile providing service in the UK, branded HMD Mobile. It will launch at the end of April, with bundles starting from £6.50 per month for unlimited UK/EU calls and SMS, and 1GB of data. Data plans go up to 25GB per month. It was not revealed which of the big four operators is providing the connectivity.
