Cloud Strength Drives Microsoft's 1Q25 Results
During the first quarter of the fiscal year 2025, which ended September 30, Microsoft continued its YoY quarterly growth.
Infobip published its annual Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) report. Adopting the latest market benchmarks and leading practices, the 2023 report aligns with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) in preparation for the evolving landscape of sustainability reporting with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).
Supported by Anthesis, an external sustainability consultancy, Infobip’s 2023 ESG report introduces four critical pillars: powering the ecosystem, protecting the environment, supporting life chances, and investing in our people. These are supported by sound governance, as a cross-cutting principle across Infobip’s ESG report.
Infobip said in a statement it is at the forefront of developing new technologies, ideas, and innovative products and services to make digital interactions more efficient and accessible. In 2023, the company received recognition for its achievements as a Communications Platform as a Service (CPaaS) Leader in the Omdia Universe, Gartner Magic Quadrant, and IDC MarketScape reports. With a vision to power the entire ecosystem, Infobip also provided startups with up to $60,000 of credits and organized a Startup Tribe event where firms had the opportunity to pitch ideas to more than 10,000 attendees.
In 2023, Infobip aligned with global best practices in carbon management and reporting. The company said it is committed to setting a carbon target with the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) by 2025 and has adopted the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) guidelines. It also developed a global environmental policy, which helps raise awareness of such issues inside the business and across the supply chain while minimizing its environmental footprint.
The firm added it is making a meaningful impact in communities worldwide. It donated nearly €165,000 and over 170 laptops, monitors, and other equipment to support more than 100 projects. Their Social Impact Program included environmental initiatives such as tree planting and support for botanical gardens.
Infobip established an employee-led Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) task force to ensure that these issues play a prominent role in the business. It also launched a global training program on DE&I topics, with over 3,165 attendees worldwide, to guarantee that all employees feel safe and respected. In 2023, over 11% of employees worldwide volunteered more than 800 hours, showing a dedication to community engagement across various regions.
Alongside the aforementioned four pillars, Infobip stated that transparency, integrity, and respect underpin their strong governance in all business operations. In 2023, Infobip carried out a materiality assessment to identify critical reporting and strategic issues. In the coming year, the assessment will be updated in line with the Double Materiality requirements outlined in the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS).
“Infobip’s ESG policies and achievements are going from strength to strength. We are working hard to create a lasting impact beyond our operations. As the market-leading communications platform, we are dedicated to nurturing a more inclusive and sustainability-driven ecosystem,” said Infobip CEO Silvio Kutić.
