Lenovo’s LanSchool Air Joins Edwin, a Digital Learning Ecosystem

Lenovo announced that LanSchool Air, the company’s new cloud-based, classroom management platform, is now integrated into Edwin, the latest technology innovation from NELSON, Canada’s leading educational publisher. The inclusion of LanSchool Air in the Edwin digital ecosystem brings Lenovo’s classroom management software to Canadian teachers and students to create a classroom environment that is interactive, collaborative and easily manageable.

LanSchool Air is designed to meet the complex instructional needs of connected classrooms, minimize digital distractions, keep students focused and on track, and increase collaboration. The solution provides tools that allow teachers to push websites, blank screens, limit websites and thumbnail monitor all classroom devices to improve learning outcomes.

“NELSON is recognized as a leader in educational content. Their commitment to transforming student learning through their digital EDWIN platform is a game-changer,“ said Sal Patalano, Chief Revenue Officer, Lenovo Software. “With more than 30 years of educational software expertise, Lenovo’s LanSchool Air is the perfect addition to help educators transition seamlessly to digital learning environments.“

Edwin’s 1:1 device model provides a level playing field for students, and supports them with a personalized learning platform with access to a deep library of curriculum-linked content. LanSchool Air will be the exclusive classroom management solution in Edwin.

“Edwin is designed to accommodate all learning styles, along with a comprehensive professional development program that supports educators as they transition to a digital classroom,“ said Ben Higgins, SVP of Digital Strategy and Technology, NELSON. “LanSchool Air is a key piece of Edwin’s ecosystem as the integration of this innovative software helps us achieve our goal of creating a collaborative and engaging learning experience.“
