Samsung Launches Its First 5G Phone This Week

Samsung announced the Galaxy S10 5G will be available for purchase in Korea starting April 5. With the company's first 5G smartphone, consumers will be able to unlock a new mobile experience with the most advanced network available.

5G commercial network in Korea has been on air since December 1, 2018 by all mobile operators using Samsung’s 5G network core and radio solutions. The introduction of the Galaxy S10 5G is a key milestone in Samsung’s research and development that also includes key breakthroughs like the world’s first gigabit speed 5G transmission, the first 5G handover between multiple cells, and now, its first 5G smartphone available on the market.
