HT's 5G Network Covers Two Million Croatian Citizens

Hrvatski Telekom announced its 5G network is available in further 31 cities and six municipalities in Croatia. These are: Belišće, Beli Manastir, Biograd na Moru, Daruvar, Donji Miholjac, Dubrovnik, Duga Resa, Đurđevac, Glina, Gospić, Hvar, Ivanec, Ivanić-Grad, Korčula, Križevci, Lepoglava, Ludbreg, Mali Lošinj, Mursko Središće, Novalja, Nova Gradiška, Ogulin, Pakrac, Pazin, Popovača, Rab, Solin, Šibenik, Valpovo, Vrbovec i Zabok te općine Bilice, Cernik, Fažana, Medulin, Pitomača, and Vir.

In total, HT has so far enabled the use of the 5G network in 76 Croatian cities and towns and 11 municipalities. The network currently operates on Dynamic Spectrum Sharing (DSS) technology, which allows the use of existing frequencies for 5G and rapid implementation of the 5G network and reduces the need for new base stations and locations on specific frequencies.

"5G is a technology that will mark the next ten years, and there is no part of Croatia or the sector, public or private, that will not benefit from the use of 5G. To bring the opportunities offered by 5G closer to everyone, we continue to systematically connect entire Croatia, from urban centers, islands, to rural areas, from Dubrovnik, through Šibenik, Rab, Pazin, Gospić, Ivanić-Grad, Nova Gradiška, to Beli Manastir. As of today, we have covered a total of 76 Croatian cities and towns, 11 municipalities, and two million Croatian citizens," said Boris Drilo, CTIO at Hrvatski Telekom.
