HT Wins the Best Fixed Broadband Award

Hrvatski Telekom received another network quality award. After winning several awards for best mobile network in Croatia earlier in the year, the company got the umlaut award for the fixed broadband service.

The award comes as a result of 764,172 performance samples gathered over the period of six months, between April and September 2021 among all fixed broadband networks and service providers in Croatia. It reflects the real user experience of over 10,000 lines tested in the categories: download speed, upload speed and latency. By winning the ‘Best in test’ award, HT confirmed its market leadership status.

„Our fixed broadband network has a vital role in connecting Croatian citizens and businesses, enabling them to have faster Internet access as well as to enjoythe best network experience possible. We are fully committed to this goal, which is backed by our market leading investments with HT building twice as much fiber network as all participants in the market together and raising the network quality and speed in the whole fixed network. And we are doing it across Croatia, in big and small cities, sub-urban and rural areas,“ said Boris Drilo, Hrvatski Telekom’s Member of the Management Board and CTIO.

HT, continues focusing on building its fiber-optic infrastructure as part of its investment strategy. The company is further expanding its fixed network with FTTH covering more than 435,000 households, and is on track to have a second straight record roll-out year.
