Superior call quality and a faster call setup through VoLTE service by Hrvatski Telekom, which has been confirmed also by an independent research conducted by P3, enhances iPhone user experience, said largest Croatian operator. VoLTE, that enables calls over LTE network, is now available also for the users of the latest iPhone models (iPhone 6, 6 Plus, SE, 6s, 6s Plus, 7, 7 Plus, 8, 8 Plus and X).
VoLTE service implies a crystal clear and natural sound, call setup time reaching around 2 seconds, superfast data transfer during calls and extended battery life. iPhone users striving for use of VoLTE service need to install 11.2 or a more recent version of iOS software on their device. There are no additional charges, since it has already been included in the monthly tariff fee, whilst VoLTE calls will be charged in the same way as all the other calls in accordance with the tariff model.
LTE technology is based on 4G network and enables data transfer and superior call quality. Moreover, VoLTE service will enable iPhone users to simultaneously make calls and high quality Internet content browsing. Furthermore, the use of VoLTE service saves mobile phone’s battery life, which will particularly delight those fond of making frequent calls. Service is available in the area with HT LTE network coverage, which is on most of the Croatian territory. The advantages are considerable if both devices involved have activated the service.
