OpenAI and the UK Government Start Strategic Research Partnership
OpenAI and the UK government agreed to sign a strategic partnership.
For the second quarter of 2025, A1 Group reported gains in revenues and EBITDA. The Austria-based operator group reported similar results for the first half of the year.
Total revenues increased by 4.1% in Q2 to €1.37 billion and by 3.9% in H1 to €2.69 billion. The company said it had a strong commercial momentum in all countries it operates, with more than 300K mobile postpaid net additions. EBITDA increased by 3.4% in the quarter and by 4.25% in the first half of 2025. Net income grew 3.4% in the quarter to €151 million and 5.1% in H1 to € 277 million.
“A1 continues to deliver a strong growth performance in the second quarter, driven by CEE compensating for a weak market environment in Austria. Despite the challenging market situation in our home market, we report a robust commercial performance in major segments,” said Alejandro Plater, A1 CEO.
“As in previous periods, our results continue to benefit from demand for Internet@Home products and B2B Digital Services. Our customer base in mobile postpaid grew by 11.1% and Internet@Home postpaid customers by 4%. As presented in our strategy, we are constantly asking ourselves how to stay relevant for our customers and anticipate their needs,” added Thomas Arnolder, deputy CEO of A1.
