Anthropic Plans $10 Billion Funding Round

Anthropic plans to secure $10 billion in a new funding round. It would value the company at $350 billion before the new investment.

Singapore-based sovereign-wealth fund GIC and Coatue Management will lead the financing. The funding round is expected to be finalized over the coming weeks. Anthropic is planning to go public this year and expects to break even for the first time in 2028.

The fresh cash will be on top of the up to $15 billion Nvidia and Microsoft plan to invest, which was announced in November 2025. As part of that deal, Anthropic committed to spending at least $30 billion on computing capacity from the Microsoft Azure cloud platform, which runs on Nvidia’s specialised AI systems.
