HT Confirms the Status of the Best and Fastest Network in Croatia

Hrvatski Telekom has strengthened its position as the leading network in Croatia. The provider has won both “Best in test“ awards for the best and fastest mobile and fixed broadband networks. This is the fifth time that Hrvatski Telekom has won the umlaut “Best in test“ award for the best mobile network while recording back-to-back awards for the best-fixed broadband network as well.

The awards are the result of an analysis of more than 39 million samples in total, collected from all mobile and fixed broadband service providers in Croatia over six months, between December 2021 and June 2022. These reflect the real user experience, with HT achieving the highest score in mobile and fixed broadband, both with improved scores compared with the last year, especially in fixed where a 27 percent total score has been recorded.

“HT has once again confirmed the status of the leading network in Croatia, and the recognition is even more significant since it comes from a continuous increase in the quality and speed of Internet access as well as constantly improving customer experiences. We had yet again a record fiber roll-out year, for the first time with more than a 100,000 new FTTH in one year, accompanied by doubled fiber network speeds, while in mobile where we are already one of the fastest networks in the EU we further increased the 5G coverage to almost 100 cities and over 2 million population. And following our strategy, we continue investing in network infrastructure contributing to the development of Croatian society, businesses, and economy,“ said Boris Drilo, Hrvatski Telekom’s CTIO.
