Infobip, a global cloud communication company for businesses and a leader in omnichannel engagement, is enabling and showcasing Rich Communication Services (RCS) for multiple brands at MWC 2019 in Barcelona.

At the Google Stand at Innovation City, Infobip is showcasing multiple demonstrations from various industries how RCS bots improve customer experience across multiple stages of the customer journey.

The brands participating in the Infobip RCS showcase include Twitter, Hong Leong Bank from Malaysia, the on-demand carpooling company BlaBlaCar and UTEL University, a leader in online education.

Visitors of the Google stand experiencing the brands, with its wide variety of use cases of RCS bots, will genuinely understand the impact of RCS dialogue for businesses.

Infobip's RCS showcase for Twitter,  that was also presented at the GSMA RCS Business Messaging Labs in Barcelona on February 24th, is about reminding and helping Twitter users to reengage through RCS notifications.

"Receiving a branded, re-engagement notification natively on most Twitter user's smartphone is an impactful way to reconnect with a brand. We are excited to see how the RCS bot helps enhance user experience, reconnecting and reengaging Twitter users, helping them build long-term brand loyalty," said Silvija Renusa, Product Owner at Infobip.

UTEL University is always looking for impactful ways of engaging with their students, keeping them updated on new online classes and curriculum changes.

"Infobip's enablement of RCS allows for responsive 2-way communications imperative to our students and prospects. Being an online university, our students may be time zones apart and it is important communicating over the channels our students use and prefer. We take advantage of RCS to publicize, in an innovative way, the new academic programs that we incorporate into our offer to boost their professional development," said Ana Gabriela Barrera Garcia, Inbound Marketing Coordinator at UTEL University.

In BlaBlaCar's case RCS brings improved customer experience when ordering a car pooling ride.

"With Infobip's enablement of RCS, we can provide added trust for our members, presenting pictures of drivers and their overall ratings in a branded, rich context communicated natively on the users' smart phones," said Erwann Robin, Lead Developer at BlaBlaCar.

"The brands showcased at MWC 2019 present the versatility and the advancements of RCS. Infobip's enablement of RCS, helping enterprises to improve customer experience, enhancing customer retention through RCS, natively on the customers phone genuinely enriches and extends a business omnichannel marketing approach", said Silvio Kutic, CEO of Infobip.
