Orange reported revenue of €12.2 billion for the third quarter of 2026, representing a 3.6% year-on-year increase. The telecommunications provider confirmed that all geographic segments contributed to this growth: the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region saw a 14% rise, Spain increased by 3.5%, France remained marginally above previous levels, and the rest of Europe grew by 5.3%.
While the company does not disclose net profit in its third-quarter reports, it noted that EBITDAaL (EBITDA after leases) rose 4.6% to €4.1 billion. Consequently, Orange has revised its full-year EBITDAaL growth guidance upward, shifting from an initial target of over 4% to more than 4.5%.
CEO Christel Heydemann noted substantial progress in the company's long-term strategic initiatives, citing the introduction of new service offerings in France and sustained expansion within the cybersecurity division. She also highlighted the integration of the former MasOrange assets in Spain following the completion of the buyout in June. Furthermore, the operator successfully secured an extended SecNumCloud security and digital sovereignty certification for its Orange Business cloud services.
Heydemann also referenced a strategic Letter of Intent signed alongside Deutsche Telekom, Telefónica, and Vodafone to investigate a collaborative bid for European mobile satellite service spectrum. She stated that this cooperation aligns with the broader objective of enhancing the sovereignty and resilience of Europe's critical communications infrastructure.
The operator is also progressing with the acquisition of assets from SFR, a subsidiary of Altice, as part of a collective agreement involving Bouygues Telecom and Free (Iliad Group). Orange indicated that this transaction remains on schedule for completion in the second half of 2027. Despite ongoing legal proceedings initiated by Altice France works councils, Orange affirmed its commitment to maintaining the current constructive social dialogue regarding the transition.
