Samsung Teases Release of Galaxy S21

Samsung teased the launch of its next Galaxy flagship lineup next week at an online event themed Welcome to the Everyday Epic. The Galaxy Unpacked event is scheduled on 14 January.

The Korean company said in a statement that mobile technology has taken centre stage as people work from and spend time at home. “The accelerated transition to a mobile-first world brings with it the need for devices that can transform everyday life into an extraordinary experience,” Samsung said.

While the company didn’t reveal the specs for the Galaxy S21, Yonhap News Agency, citing industry sources, said the new flagship is expected to come in three sizes, featuring 6.2-inch, 6.7-inch and 6.8-inch displays. Samsung also said due to the global pandemic its CES 2021 press conference would be held virtually on 11 January.
