Combis, leading ICT services provider in Croatia, has implemented an advanced software-defined networking solution (SDN) for data centers in oil company INA. The project consisted of the implementation of Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure) solution for data center network management and migration of the services.

"The adjustment of network and security application settings was a task that could have lasted for days, or even weeks. This solution automates the management within a data center, which results in adjustment of network and security settings for applications in minutes. This advanced network model enables the most advanced management within the data center, speed and efficiency", said Domagoj Pehar, Technical Director of IP Communications and Security at Combis.

"We have implemented this project together with a certified team in Combis and provided a highly available data center based on the next generation technologies and equipment. The ability to manage a full network environment in data center from one place, significantly shortens the time of development and implementation of new applications and services - which creates the most advanced data center", said Marko Galetić, Network Infrastructure Manager at INA - Plavi tim, company of INA Group.

"Combis has a broad implementation portfolio in the field of data centers, many years of experience, certification and exceptional know-how", commented Mate Grbavac, Network System Engineer and Technical Project Manager for INA project, also holder of the world-recognized CCIE Data Center Certification, the biggest achievement of network certification in the IT industry.
