A1 Fully Acquires NTT Austria

Following the successful acquisition of NTT's Alcatel Lucent telephony business in spring 2021, A1 Austria will acquire 100% of the shares in NTT Austria, after approval by the authorities. NTT supports customers with managed infrastructure services along the entire value chain. The IT service provider is a specialist in the Intelligent Workplace with cloud-based solutions and infrastructure and security services.

With the approval of the authorities, operational integration at A1 begins, and all employees will join A1. NTT Austria serves governmental institutions as well as small companies. In addition, A1 and NTT Group intend to further expand their long-standing strategic partnership on an international level. This allows A1 to expand its market reach beyond its current footprint and reach more international customers.
