Aduna expanded its network API ecosystem with the addition of Japanese operators SoftBank and NTT Docomo. Also, five other vendors joined the initiative, including Microsoft and Syniverse.
In a statement, Aduna founding member Ericsson noted the venture signed deals with Japan-based operators, extending its coverage across the country. The partnership with SoftBank is focused on expanding developer access to standardized telecom APIs, while its collaboration with Docomo is to make the service provider’s advanced network capabilities accessible through Aduna’s unified platform.
Microsoft joined the network API ecosystem company as a technology partner, working to expand Aduna’s platform built on its Azure and AI systems. Aduna’s aggregated network APIs will be made available as native Microsoft services through partners in the Azure Marketplace.
Syniverse plans to integrate with Aduna’s unified API platform, giving customers access to network APIs, including SIM swap, number verification, and device location, across a trusted, multi-operator environment. India-based systems integrators Wipro and Tech Mahindra, and UK-based communications-as-a-service provider JT Global also joined as Aduna partners.
