Google signed partnerships with Intel and HPE to deliver faster and simpler hybrid cloud. They are  aimed at helping enterprise customers seamlessly deploy applications across on-premise and cloud environments.

The companies will collaborate on Anthos, a new reference design based on the 2nd-Generation Xeon Scalable processor and an optimized Kubernetes software stack. As part of the initial strategic agreement, HPE will offer two designs for Anthos based on SimpliVity hyperconverged infrastructure and Nimble Storage and ProLiant servers.

“Google and Intel enjoy a long-standing partnership focused on delivering infrastructure innovation to customers,“ said Urs Hölzle, senior vice president of Technical Infrastructure at Google Cloud. “Data center environments today are complex, and hardware and software infrastructure is not ‘one size fits all.’ Our ability to collaborate with Intel and take advantage of their technology and product innovation to deliver Anthos solutions ensures that our customers can run their applications in the way that best suits them.“

“We’re working closely with HPE to make it easy for customers to incorporate Anthos into their cloud strategies,“ said Kevin Ichhpurani, Corporate Vice President, Global Ecosystem and Business Development at Google Cloud. “We’re delighted that HPE shares our ‘build once, run anywhere’ approach and look forward to expanding our partnership for hybrid cloud solutions on behalf of customers.“
