Hiberus Acquired Telefónica Tech's Assets in Latin America

Hiberus will acquire Telefónica Tech’s businesses in Colombia, Mexico, and Chile. As per the agreement, both companies will maintain a strategic alliance that will allow Telefónica Tech to continue serving multinational customers in the region, while reinforcing its strategic and operational focus.

The operation will be carried out, guaranteeing the continuity of labour and contractual relations, in accordance with current regulations, and without impact on the services that Telefónica Tech provides to its multinational customers. In this context, the Digital Operations Center in Colombia will continue to be part of Telefónica Tech, operating normally, providing service to customers within its footprint and ensuring the same levels of quality, availability, and operational excellence.

With this measure, Telefónica Tech advances in its growth and organizational simplification strategy, reinforcing its focus on digital and technological solutions with greater added value for companies, in line with its main markets for the Telefónica Group: Spain, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Brazil. This acquisition allows hiberus to consolidate its presence in Latin America, further its expansion in key markets, and enhance its capabilities in strategic areas. It is positioned as a benchmark company in the region and consolidates its position to provide service to North America.
