Nokia has reached an agreement to sell its Enterprise Campus Edge (ECE) division to the investment firm Aurelius Group. The Finnish telecommunications vendor stated that this divestment is intended to refine its corporate portfolio and reallocate capital toward business segments identified for long-term value creation.

The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed, and Nokia anticipates the deal will conclude in the first half of 2027, contingent upon customary regulatory approvals and closing conditions. This move follows Nokia's recent completion of the sale of its fixed wireless access (FWA) customer premises equipment business to the U.S.-based provider Inseego. Under the stewardship of Aurelius, Nokia indicated that ECE will function as an autonomous entity, benefiting from increased operational independence and a specialized strategic mandate. Personnel are expected to transition with the unit in compliance with relevant local labor regulations.

The ECE division maintains a significant footprint in the private wireless sector, providing services to nearly 900 global clients across industries such as manufacturing, mining, logistics, and power generation. Its specialized portfolio encompasses industrial hardware, on-premises operational technology, and software solutions designed to facilitate industrial artificial intelligence applications. Konstanty Owczarek, Chief Corporate Development Officer at Nokia, remarked that the agreement establishes a robust foundation for the unit's future expansion. “Our focus during this transition remains the sustained growth of the enterprise and ensuring operational continuity for our global clientele and workforce,” he added.
