Solteq launches dedicated Magento Practice to boost its international growth and offering
Solteq, company from Norway with expertise of multichannel and digital commerce, will launch a dedicated Magento Practice, for developing and implementing ecommerce solutions using the platform. As stated by the company, the launch of Magento Practice is a logical continuum in Solteq’s new strategy focusing on customer, international growth and offering that covers the entire chain of digital commerce. The Practice to be launched will mainly serve Nordic mid-market commerce customers.
Solteq will invest in digital commerce growth in the Nordic markets by launching a dedicated omnicommerce competence center based on Magento platform. The omnicommerce competence center is targeted to meet the needs of mid-market commerce customers. Omnicommerce means retailing strategy that delivers a seamless customer experience through all available shopping channels - from brick-and-mortar shop to online stores and mobile.
The new omnicommerce competence center complements Solteq's current digital commerce solution offering. The omnicommerce expertise that Solteq today has, is at its best for large or global clients in retail, wholesale and manufacturing. Magento Practice will bring another strong pillar for Solteq's offering of digital commerce solutions, serving especially mid-market Nordic retail and wholesale customers.
Solteq will recruit 40–50 digital commerce or Magento platform experts in Finland and Sweden over the next 12 months. Already today Solteq's omnicommerce expertise is one of the most significant in the Nordic countries. This investment in Magento Practice will smooth the way of mid-market Nordic customers on becoming one of the top players in digital commerce. Adding Magento platform into Solteq solution portfolio also provides new career paths to current Solteq experts. It’s also possible that gaining the competences of Magento platform can be accelerated by other measures at a later date.
"We are serious about conquering the Nordic markets. We have seen that there is plenty of offering for global commerce providers in the Nordics, but mid-market customers clearly need an omnicommerce partner with hardcore expertise. This is the market we will hit with the Magento Practice extension", explains Solteq’s CEO Repe Harmanen the facts behind the growth investment.
Also Juha Luomala, the director in charge of service development at Solteq, sees that the growth investment meets the needs of mid-market commerce customers.
"I am looking forward to being able to tell not only to the global digital commerce customers, but also to our Nordic retail and wholesale customers that 'yes, we can help you win in the digitalization of commerce'. I am happy that our portfolio will supplement, and the expertise on the digital commerce we have acquired working with global customers can be utilized to improve the business of our mid-market commerce customers. We have already been able to offer a 'one-stop shop' for eCommerce, back-end systems, digital marketing and design for our global customers. Now we can offer the same advantages with solutions that are perfectly suited for mid-market digital commerce customers.", said Luomala.
