Claudia Nemat Leaves DT, Abdu Mudesir Succeeds Her
Claudia Nemat announced she would leave her position at Deutsche Telekom.
On 1 September 2025, Jiří Dvorjančanský will become the new CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of A1 Austria. Marcus Grausam will not renew his Management Board contract and will leave the company in September at his own request after 27 years.
Dvorjančanský has decades of experience in the telecommunications industry. He was most recently the CEO of A1 Croatia and North Macedonia from 2014 to 2024. In addition, he was able to gain extensive international management experience at Deutsche Telekom and Telefónica, among others. The appointment as CEO was made unanimously by the Supervisory Board.
There were more leadership changes in A1 Austria. In addition to his previous role as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) Enterprise, Martin Resel will become the new A1 Management Board team as Deputy CEO of A1 Austria. Natascha Kantauer-Gansch will also be appointed to the Executive Board as CCO Consumer. The previous CFO, Sonja Wallner, will remain CFO of A1 Austria and A1 Group.
"We are very pleased that Jiří Dvorjančanský is returning to A1 Group as the new CEO of Austria. He has many years of management experience and will continue to drive the company's digital transformation. The new Management Board team, which consists of highly experienced top managers, builds on a strong foundation and will continue A1's successful positioning in the Austrian market," said A1 Group CEO Alejandro Plater and Deputy CEO Thomas Arnoldner.
