Goodspeed Roaming wins Best e-SIM Provisioning Provider Award

UROS, Uni-fi Roaming Solutions, announced that Goodspeed Roaming App was awarded Best e-SIM Provisioning Provider at MVNO Awards 2017. These awards are a part of the MVNOs World Congress that focuses on bringing together the telecoms industry key players, innovators and disruptors to unite, expand and enable the MVNO sector.

This year’s MVNO Awards proved to be a great success with record numbers of entries received. They provide great prestige to the winners with the entries being judged from an impartial point of view from a number of industry experts. Goodspeed Roaming App convinced the jury with its innovativeness and contribution in helping MVNOs to scale up their businesses to provide global roaming connectivity.
Goodspeed Roaming was created with a vision to provide affordable mobile data connection for international travelers who prefer to keep it simple and eliminate bill shocks. It guarantees low-cost connectivity in 120 countries through e-SIM technology and it consists of a smartphone, mobile application, and e-SIM card. Goodspeed Roaming was launched in November 2016 in collaboration with ZTE and it comes as an embedded app in the ZTE Blade V7 Lite and V8 Lite smartphones.

After activating the service, the customer can use the Goodspeed SIM by just one tap or switch over to their own home SIM card for data. Customer’s regular number stays available to receive and to make voice calls and to send text messages. Goodspeed Roaming is available globally through UROS’ and ZTE’s distribution channel to operators and MVNOs worldwide, as well as UROS’ online sales channels.

“We are truly delighted to be recognized for our effort in developing new low-cost global roaming solutions for MVNOs who struggle with the implementation of the European Roaming Regulation. Our new e-SIM based solutions are designed to offer transparent data roaming day passes helping MNOs and MVNOs to reconnect millions of silent roamers,“ said UROS CEO Gerrit Jan Konijnenberg.
