Thirteen years ago, on 4th of February, ICTbusiness.info was launched with a clear idea – to create a medium that would follow technology, digital transformation, and the ICT industry in a serious, analytical, and long-term manner. At the time, however, we did not know that it would expand and reach what it is today.
From the very beginning, the emphasis was not on speed, but on understanding. Instead of merely transmitting news, the portal built context, explained trends, and connected the local market with global technological developments. Such an approach became the foundation of trust among the audience and partners, and we hope it has remained so and will continue to be so.
Over the years, ICTbusiness.info outgrew the framework of a classic portal and became the core of a broader media system. Today it is part of ICTBusiness Media, which brings together three specialized online portals: ICTbusiness.info, ICTbusiness.biz, and Gameperspectives.hr, two television formats: ICTBusiness TV and ICT na Ti, as well as its own regional TV channel, ICTbusiness TV.
Television projects further expanded reach and influence. ICTBusiness TV delivers reports, interviews, and analyses, while ICT na Ti, through an авторial format, brings technology closer to real users and entrepreneurs. Both formats confirm that high-quality technology content has its place on television as well.
A particular value is represented by the regional TV channel ICTbusiness TV, which is broadcast in Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, and Montenegro. In this way, domestic ICT content gained regional visibility, and ICTBusiness Media became one of the few specialized technology media systems in this part of Europe.
Development over thirteen years has been marked by continuous investment in professional journalism, specialization, fieldwork, and an авторial approach. ICTbusiness.info has never been merely a medium for conveying information, but a platform for dialogue, the exchange of ideas, and critical reflection on the digital future.
Ahead of us lies a new period of accelerated development of artificial intelligence, automation, cybersecurity, and digital regulation. In such an environment, the need for high-quality, verified, and expert media content is greater than ever. ICTbusiness.info and ICTBusiness Media continue their mission – to inform, educate, and connect the region’s digital community.
All of this would not have been possible without the people who have worked and continue to work on this project. Over these thirteen years, a total of 260 ICTbusiness TV shows and 90 ICT na Ti TV shows have been produced, while more than 85 thousand articles and more than 19 thousand original photographs have been published across the portals.
Thanks also to everyone who supported us, everyone we recorded and spoke with, who shared with us their love for technology, creation, development, and innovation, and who, like us, found themselves on a true adrenaline-fueled twelve-year roller coaster.
All of this would not have been possible without a crazy team of people who worked on some of our projects, such as Antonio, Boris, Vanja, Vedran, Kristina, Marko, Silvija, Pavo, Robert, Jurica, Valentino, Damir, and even two of them, and, unfortunately, the late Kes.
