Comping: Continued Growth and Focus on Solutions and Services

Last year was very successful for Croatian IT company Comping. They have marked significant growth in all of the strategic interest areas, the Chairman of the board Alojzije Jukić said in an interview with ICTbusiness.info. He added that he expects to fully comply with business plans with a particular focus on profitability with a 10% increase in EBITDA in comparison with the previous year. Regarding plans for the expansion of the business in 2020, Jukić expects a great year again. He points to the start of cooperation with Dell EMC, SAS, UIPath, Cohety.

“We have reached a significant step forward in the business solutions and services business, and we have achieved growth of this part over 80 %. We are particularly proud that a significant amount of this growth has been in the international market in the financial sector, and we have already agreed further work for 2020", clarifies Jukić. Moreover, he notes that the field of infrastructure solutions was very dynamic and excellent results with all our technological partners (HPE, HP Inc, Dell EMC).

Concerning an important part of Comping’s business, Jukić states that, in case of HPE and HP, it has grown over 20 percent compared with 2018 and maintained the position of the leadin partner in Croatia. Key projects were the delivery of servers for the Centre of Shared Services and Computer Delivery for National Administrations.

"2019 was the first year of partnership with Dell and we have justified our status as a Direct Platinum Partner, confirming it for 2020. We have offered solutions in the field of HCV, hit by the converging convergence infrastructure, VDI, and Thin Client solutions, as well as the range of EMC storage solutions with EMC PowerMAX and Unity technology“, notes Jukić.

He added that the company has done a great work in IoT segment, since they have positioned their ThinksTalk IoT platform well among partners in the application of IoT solutions, independently of the communication technology. As far as this new business is concerned, he expects it to and further enhance the share of all forms of solutions and services in the overall business. Jukić also expects the realization of the first major projects and the implementation of the solutions based on SAS, UIPath and Cohety technologies.

“By the end of 2020, we expect to connect more than 100.000 different IoT devices with our ThinkTalk platform. We'll put more focus on further strengthening our teams where we plan around 15 new resources, as well as significant investment in R&D to develop our own products and solutions. We also regularly check possibilities of accelerating growth through acquisition on the local and regional market", concludes Jukić.
