IT offers make up 22% of all available vacancies in the Moscow labor market. The demand for programmers has grown by one and a half times since September 2020.

The most popular employees are software-developers. More than 40% of all positions in the IT field allocated to software developers. In addition, the trend for iOS and Android mobile software operating system developers has increased by 30%. Employers are interested in specialists who write in PHP, JavaScript, 1C and Java.

It is also noted that since January 2020, the average income of experienced programmers has increased by 16%. The increase in wages rates stimulate the interest in IT education. In 2020, the number of students who chose to study IT has increased by 8%. This year, more than 100 thousand students are studying in the field of information and communication technologies. The demand for IT specialties is caused by the growing interest of citizens in new online services, as well as rising standards for existing online platforms.
