Lenovo announced new smart devices that are using artificial intelligence, augmented and virtual reality. At the special event in Berlin they unveiled Mirage AR headset, Moto X4 smartphone, Tab 4 Home Assistant and Yoga 920.

Additionally, the company also announced new 12-inch Yoga 720 convertible, Miix 520 detachable, and ThinkVision P27u monitor. They also showcased new AR game Star Wars: Jedi Challenges along with special controller.

Star Wars: Jedi Challenges is a new augmented reality Star Wars product that features a smartphone-powered Lenovo Mirage AR headset, Tracking Beacon and a Lightsaber controller. Mirage AR headset comes with a Tracking Beacon, which is placed on the floor, and acts as a base for the sensors to detect the user’s movement. The headset pairs with a Lightsaber controller, who also acts as a pointer, modeled after the one wielded by Anakin Skywalker, Luke Skywalker and Rey.

The fourth generation moto X has an improved camera with interesting features. The Landmark Detection helps users when they point the lens at an object, and it will ask them if they want to learn about what they’re seeing. AR feature lets users add a layer of animations to photos or videos. New Moto X4 is also the first of Motorola’s smartphones to feature Amazon Alexa. Amazon's assistant is also used in a new Tab 4 series of tablets.

The Yoga 920 convertible was a star of the evening with new smart pen functionality, voice recognition from a distance, mixed reality options, biometric security with Windows Hello, and other tools. Yoga 920 offers an optional Lenovo Active Pen 2 that has 4,096 levels of sensitivity for drawing and making notes with no lag. Additionally, voice recognition comes to the Yoga 920 with Cortana that uses AI to learn from its owners.

It fuses power, such as up to an 8th Generation Intel Core i7 processor, Windows 10 and dazzling visuals with a nearly bezel-less 4K IPS touchscreen in a 13.9-inch frame. Weighing in at just 1.37 kilos, the four-mode convertible flexes 360° from a laptop into a tablet. Additionally, it comes in limited edition Gorilla Glass cover designs: Vibes, featuring a “visual vibration“ design, Star Wars Special Edition Rebel Alliance and Galactic Empire.

Additionally, Lenovo has launched the 12-inch Yoga 720, their most portable and compact Yoga 720 model and the detachable Miix 520. New ThinkVision P27u monitor has a 4K borderless display, professional-grade color accuracy and fast response times.
