King ICT Group Estimates 2025 Revenue at More than €175 Million
King ICT Group achieved non-consolidated revenue of more than €175 million in 2025, continuing a trend of strong growth and strengthening profitability, representing a growth of 25%.

The past year was marked by strong global economic challenges, but also by the accelerated growth of the IT sector driven by the development of AI. Plamenko Barišić, President of the Management Board of King ICT, emphasizes to ICTbusiness Media – ICTbusiness.info that, in such an environment, King ICT further strengthened its market position, successfully delivering projects in Croatia and abroad.
According to estimates, King ICT Group achieved non-consolidated revenue of more than €175 million in 2025, continuing a trend of strong growth and strengthening profitability, representing a growth of 25%. The Group consists of Abysalto, Planer IX, and Smart Energy. The key to success was advanced digital services and solutions aimed at specialized needs – from public safety and the defense sector to cybersecurity and the protection of critical infrastructure.
“King ICT successfully closed the business year, achieving strong growth in revenue, profitability, and the number of employees, with consistent delivery of complex projects, fulfillment of all contractual obligations, and a high level of customer satisfaction,” Barišić explains.
Additional strength to the business also comes from the founding of the company Abysalto, created through the strategic merger of the software departments of King ICT, Omega Software, and Aktivis. Abysalto, together with the other specialized companies Planer IX and Smart Energy, forms an important part of the King ICT ecosystem, which, supported by the expertise of more than 860 employees, ensures the company’s long-term sustainability and competitiveness.
“If an opportunity opens up in Croatia, we would certainly try to acquire something. There are situations where both opportunities and a desire for someone to exit the business appear. However, our primary growth focus is clearly directed at Western markets, which is our dominant direction. When we talk about those markets, we primarily mean the US and the Benelux countries,” Barišić explains to ICTbusiness.info.
As for entering the European market, Barišić points out that NATO is often mentioned in such conversations, but it is clear that the company is not opening up to doing business exclusively with NATO.
“The idea, especially from a sales perspective, is the necessity of opening up to other markets. That does not mean that the focus must remain only on the European Commission. There is a whole range of agencies, as well as a strongly developed banking sector and industries such as manufacturing and water management in the Netherlands. Those are precisely the areas where we are most active today and where we see the primary sources of future growth, which is in line with what was highlighted at the beginning,” Barišić explains.
According to him, hope also exists in the region, although our growth in those markets has so far been quite cautious. In the region, we have quality people and healthy companies, but without strong pressure for accelerated growth, Barišić claims, adding that we even, to a certain extent allowed some local players to overtake us, which is a good signal because it shows that the market has potential, and it is precisely in that that we see additional sources of future market growth.
“When it comes to technologies, our view is clearly focused on the future. We are focused on three connected segments that we unify under the term digital infrastructure. This encompasses everything, from data center infrastructure to the application level. Today, we are able to deliver end-to-end solutions, including battery systems and solar solutions in the context of data centers, which we consider an important comparative advantage over the competition. We also particularly highlight King Cloud as a form of sovereign, independent cloud, in which we offer services at the IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS levels. As a concrete example, the public transport ticketing system in Split is processed in our data center in Buzin, while part of the system is also located in the data center of A1 Hrvatska, which clearly shows how these solutions are used in practice,” Barišić explains.
The idea is to move into building data centers, but through partnerships with other companies and investors, because for us alone it does not really pay off, Barišić clarifies, as there is obviously a great need in the market. We are looking at three potential locations, but for now, we are observing and talking with potential investors, Barišić says.
In the past year, King ICT significantly strengthened its presence in the Benelux market and deepened cooperation with key NATO entities such as NATO Communications and Information Agency and NATO Support and Procurement Agency. These strategic partnerships culminated in new contracts for the delivery of advanced solutions in the areas of cyber and network security and infrastructure solutions.
On the domestic market, King ICT further confirmed its status as a leader in cybersecurity and digital infrastructure. Among the delivered projects, projects such as the modernization of IT and network infrastructure for Hrvatska kontrola zračne plovidbe and Zračna luka Zadar stand out, as well as the implementation of a Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) solution for FINA, the delivery of a Network Detection & Response (NDR) solution for Weidmann at multiple locations, a Hyper-converged Infrastructure (HCI) solution for Rimac Technology, and the modernization of branch network infrastructure for Raiffeisenbank (RBA).
In parallel, strategic contracts were signed for the use of KING Cloud services with Promet d.o.o. Split, Zagrebački Holding, and CARNET. An additional step forward at the regional level was achieved through a contract with JP Ceste FBiH, by which the first public cloud in Croatia confirmed the competitiveness and quality of its services beyond the country’s borders.
The business year was also marked by the delivery of a range of other projects that directly contributed to the digitalization of society and improved and simplified the everyday life of citizens.
King ICT played a major role in one of the largest hydrological projects in Europe – the VEPAR project for Hrvatske vode. It modernized the network of hydrological stations, introduced a system for centralized incident monitoring and management, and strengthened the security of key infrastructure.
In the city of Split, the Intelligent Transport System (ITS) project was completed. With this, Split received one of the most modern intelligent transport systems in Europe, which will significantly reduce traffic congestion and increase safety.
The implementation of the SAP S/4HANA system for Zagrebački holding was also successfully carried out. Thanks to this solution, the Holding now uses a unified ERP system that enables joint planning and tracking of financial and accounting data for all 14 entities, which had previously kept this data separately.
For Hrvatske šume, King ICT successfully completed the second phase of the implementation of the SAP ERP system. This project covered complex logistics processes and specific processes of forest management and asset management. This implementation significantly improves operational efficiency and the digitalization of key business processes, making it among the largest SAP projects in Croatia in 2025.
King ICT implemented an integrated security-communications system for Studenac that connects video surveillance, access control, and anti-burglary protection into a single platform, raising the level of security and efficiency of the new logistics center.
For the Croatian Academic and Research Network – CARNET, the project of implementing the new, modernized eMatica system was completed, enabling centralized and digitalized management of data on student registers in primary and secondary schools.
For Ministarstvo pravosuđa, uprave i digitalne transformacije, King ICT upgraded the HITRONet network, which enables secure and reliable communication between state institutions, significantly improving the security, reliability, and efficiency of data exchange.
For the Agencija za komercijalnu djelatnost (AKD), King ICT successfully designed, built, and equipped a data center in Sveta Nedelja, certified according to the Uptime Institute Tier III standard.
This year King ICT won two prestigious Grand Security Awards: in the category for “Most Representative Security System Project,” the AID (Automatic Incident Detection) project on highways and tunnels in cooperation with Hrvatske autoceste and the company Securitas Hrvatska, and for “Best Business Sector Project in Achieving Community Security” (the VEPAR project in cooperation with Hrvatske vode and KONČAR Digital).
Maintained and strengthened partnerships with major global corporations were confirmed by valuable recognitions, among which particularly stand out Dell “Partner of the year for Adriatic region,” Cisco “Meraki Growth Partner of the Year,” and VMware “Powerhouse Partner of the Year.”
During the year, King ICT carries out numerous humanitarian activities. We especially highlight the action of cleaning the Rovinj seabed, where, in cooperation with the Club for Underwater Activities Rovinj, an impressive 1,182 kilograms of waste were retrieved, and the traditional voluntary blood donation campaign with the Hrvatski Crveni križ, which was joined by more than 100 donors."
Although 2026 brings uncertainty in geopolitical and economic developments, which globally represents a challenge for business growth and market expansion, King ICT will continue to invest intensively in its own competencies, maintain recognition, and strengthen its portfolio of references. In this way, it will continue to successfully meet the digital needs of the most demanding users and systems of strategic importance for society.
“We recognize that technology and digitalization are moving towards specialized needs – from public safety and the defense sector, through the green transition, to cybersecurity and the protection of critical infrastructure. That is why at King ICT we are further upgrading our story and investing in specialization in these domains, as well as in the development of network solutions, data centers, public traffic management, and modernization of business solutions based on SAP technologies. We are focusing on strengthening market operations and consolidating sales resources in the Benelux, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, and Serbia markets,” concluded Plamenko Barišić.
In 2026, King ICT enters with a clear focus, with more than 50% of planned revenues contracted and a series of new projects that will shape the digital future of Croatia and the region.
