Titan OS announced the launch of its operations and the introduction of an independent European operating system for smart TVs while debuting its advertising division. Titan formed a strategic alliance with TP Vision, having already enjoyed an exclusive partnership for the company’s Linux-based TVs, and is set to be offered on selected Philips and AOC TVs in Europe and Latin America.

The new operating system will initially feature two mid-range models, the PML9009 mini-led set and the PUS8909 premium LED model, both to be launched in the first half of 2024. Founded by experienced industry executives from European and American leading entertainment, media, and investment sectors, Titan established Barcelona as its headquarters, while expanding its global presence with additional offices in Amsterdam and Taipei.

“As part of our long-term strategy, having a choice of Smart TV platforms is imperative. Our work with Titan has given us the ability to be part of the definition of the Titan OS platform and will allow us to implement our own customization and product integration. Ultimately, our customers will benefit by having easy access to both premium global services while also increasing and simplifying their access to more local content,” said Kostas Vouzas CEO for Europe and LATAM at TP Vision.

“We are very excited to partner with TP Vision, the company responsible for Philips & AOC brands”, stated Jacinto Roca, CEO at Titan OS. “We are re-thinking TV together to deliver the best personalized connected TV experience, helping viewers to find their favorite content more easily. This will allow us, from day one, to reach millions of viewers across Europe and Latin America.”

The Titan advertising division will help brands to go beyond traditional TV and impact hard-to-reach streaming audiences, allowing them to combine impactful, brand-safe, premium TV advertising with the targeting and measurement capabilities of digital. The operating system will provide customers access to an extensive list of premium applications and channels, through secured agreements with global and local partners for 2024, including Netflix, Prime Video, Youtube, Disney +, Pluto TV, and DAZN.
