Zuluhood Wins the Ninth Edition of Idea Knockout Competiton

Startup Zuluhood is the winner of the ninth Idea Knockout, the regional competition of business ideas co-organized by Bug and Hrvatski Telekom. Zuluhood is the first mobile marketplace for home and family security services. This innovative mobile platform redefines the home security industry and provides instant digitization and access to local security companies and homeowners with flexibility in making their homes secure.

At the ninth Idea Knockout, fifteen teams from Croatia and the region presented their business ideas from technological and related fields to the expert jury. They each had five minutes for that and then answered questions from the audience and the jury. The jury of the competition was presided by Bojan Mušćet from Hrvatski Telekom. This year, Ani Biome, Cardi Ball, Clastr, Digicyte, Dizz Concep, Grow, Medpack, New Machines, Rentee, seniorSOS.help, Smart Garden Systems, Solve4X, Spiritus, VeeMee, and Zuluhood took part.

Zuluhood turned out to be the best, MedPack came in second, and Clastr came in third. The winner won a trip for two team representatives to Las Vegas, to the CES fair with the cost of return tickets and accommodation, and more importantly: an exhibition stand at the part of the fair called Eureka Park, where over 350 best startups from around the world present themselves.

Idea Knockout, the largest regional competition for business ideas, took place for the ninth time. Sportreact won last year's competition, and before that Codelab, Iron Bull, Orqa FPV, MAKERbuino, STEMI, Streaming Solutions, and DivIT with the Mash.me project. With all of them, Hrvatski Telekom collaborated on various projects and will offer the winners and the best participants of this year's competition a chance to develop through its programs.
