Austria-based A1 Group reported solid results for the final quarter of 2025 and the full financial year. The operator group saw growth in revenue and EBITDA with a small drop in profits.
Total revenues in 4Q25 grew 1.1%, while for the full year the growth was 3%. In FY 2025, EBITDA grew 3.7%, surpassing €2 billion for the second time. Net profit was €613 million (€627 million in 2024), while 2025 CAPEX increased by 2.8%. Simultaneously, the group recorded an 11.3% growth in mobile subscribers.
“In 2025, our growth continued, and we achieved a very solid operational and financial performance. 40% of our growth now comes from new business areas that did not even exist a few years ago. For 2026, we expect a total revenue growth of 2-3% and CAPEX of around €750 million. Consistent with our dividend policy, the Management Board proposes an increased dividend of €0.42 per share at the Annual General Meeting, subject to Supervisory Board approval," said Alejandro Plater, A1 Group CEO.
“The number of mobile subscribers exceeded 30 million for the first time. The M2M segment mainly drove the growth. In the fixed-line business, the number of RGUs (revenue-generating units) rose by 1.7% year-on-year. The CEE markets were very successful with 8.8% revenue growth. At the group level, the ICT business performed well, with a strong gross revenue growth rate of 20%. In Austria, we saw a highly competitive and challenging environment, which we addressed with targeted investments, focused customer segmentation, strict cost control, and constant transformation to ensure relevance for our customers – this will continue in 2026. We will also proceed with the expansion of the fiber and 5G networks, both in Austria and internationally,” added Thomas Arnolder, A1 Group deputy CEO.
