ASML announced it expects sales in 2026 to grow as much as 20% to €39 billion. The company said that the revenue in the current quarter is expected to grow between 6% and 15%.

Net bookings in 4Q25 reached a record of €13.2 billion, up from €7.1 billion a year earlier. Extreme ultraviolet (EUV) systems accounted for more than half of the total. CEO Christophe Fouquet said many customers have shared a notably more positive assessment of the medium-term market situation, primarily based on more robust expectations of the sustainability of AI-related demand.“We expect 2026 to be another growth year, largely driven by a significant increase in EUV sales and growth in our installed base business sales.”

Chip equipment maker targets Q1 revenue of between €8.2 billion and €8.9 billion, up from €7.4 billion in the same period in 2025. Net profit in the October to December period rose 5.6% year-on-year to €2.8 billion, with revenue increasing 5% to €9.7 billion. China accounted for 33% of system sales in 2025, down from 41% a year earlier. Taiwan’s share of sales doubled to 22%, while the US made up 12%, down from 17% in 2024.

Despite good results and expectations, the company announced it would cut its workforce. ASML outlined plans to cut around 1,700 jobs, mostly in its home market, along with some in the US, with the axe falling on its technology and IT teams. Fouquet stated the cuts would mainly hit employees at a leadership level, and the proposed reduction represents around 4% of its workforce.
