InnovMatch Competition in Solving Business Challenges

InnovMatch aims to enable innovative companies, start-ups, developers, entrepreneurs and students from around Central and Eastern Europe to tackle specific business challenges, and by using SAP Cloud Platform, helps them unlock new business value for customers. The project has been running for 2 years, with more than 60 applications presented and later built into real business. InnovMatch 2017 is supported by SAP.io, Techstars and Start up Focus.

At this point 5 companies from different industries and from 5 different CEE countries accepted the innovative approach to business of the future, opening and inviting the community to help solve real business case by building cutting edge, innovative applications, through use of SAP Cloud Platform. Partners that are participating with their business cases are: Atlantic Groupa from Croatia, GoodAI from Slovakia, Sportina from Slovenia, EuroCash from Poland and Selgros from Romania.

InnovMatch is open to every innovative thinker from CEE, that would like to build a smart business solution, using the newest technology.  "We are calling up for innovative Big Data, predictive or real-time analytics, IoT, machine learning and other ideas and start-ups from CEE countries, to participate in InnovMatch 2017. Participants will be equipped with all the necessary knowledge and tools to build and scale their idea into a real solution and direct connection to real business. Additionally, there is 15.000 of monetary awards for the top 3 business solutions on regional final pitch event.  Grand Winner of InnovMatch will also receive a trip to Berlin to visit a fast-growing ecosystem of start-up and innovators around SAP.io and Techstars.

Everyone with a bold idea and a vision how to turn idea into a business solution is invited to apply for one of the business cases by our partners or with its own business idea and send an application video where their solution/product is explained. All business cases are presented on web site innovmatch.com. Applications will be evaluated on different levels.

Everyone applying for solving specific partner business case, will be evaluated by a jury, consistent from partner and SAP representatives. They will evaluate the potential of the application to solve specific business case for the partner. Winner of the Partner phase gets one year full usage of SAP Cloud platform and a ticket to final regional pitch event. Start-ups applying with their own business idea, will be evaluated by SAP representatives and finalists will be invited to final regional pitch event.

On the final regional pitch event representatives of SAP, SAP.io and Techstars will evaluate the best use of SAP Cloud platform for solving business challenges. Grand winner gets a monetary award and a trip to Berlin. Teams that want to participate can apply online on www.innovmatch.com.
